A perfectly normal nonrealcompact space consistent with MA+not CH

Blair asked if MA+not CH implies that every perfectly normal space is realcompact. We solved this question negatively by forcing. The proof uses a club guessing sequence. We shall present an outline of the construction and discuss related results and problems.
