Semi-direct products of residuated lattices

This talk will report on investigations carried out in collaboration with Constantine Tsinakis. The purpose of the talk is twofold: to provide simple equational bases for two interesting varieties of residuated lattices (RLs), and to illustrate the usefulness of semi-direct products in the study of RLs.
