On quasi-Einstein cartan type hypersurfaces

We introduce the notion of Cartan type hypersurfaces. We present curvature properties of such hypersurfaces in semi-Riemannian space forms. The main results are related to the case when, in addition, these hypersurfaces are quasi-Einstein. Suitable examples will be given.
