The game theory is a discipline of the applied mathematics which aim is to explain many phenomena from the social and natural sciences, as well as to improve handling the problems occuring with it. The main method in game theory is to develop certain procedures (algorithms when possible) that describe the path to the optimal strategy for a player within certain game.
In my rewiev to game theory with a PowerPoint presentation I describe the basics of this interdisciplinary branch, offering a variety of problems from different aspects of the real life that could be treated with the game theory. Furthermore, I present 4 simple computer games which illustrate the existence of an victorious strategy, non-loosing strategy, heuristic strategy and an example of simulation game. Also, there are some animated video sequences which in a funny way describe some of the concepts introduced theoretically.
