Marketing research and practice with the aid of statistical models and operation research techniques

Statistical models of spatial data formalize how cross sectional observations relate to each other as a function of their spatial location.This paper explains the generality of such models and how they are helpful to marketing practitioners in the description of marketing systems,segmentation of markets,prediction of markets behavior, and the pooling of data.
