by

For a metric continuum X, let Fn(X) be the hyperespace of nonempty subsets of X with at most n elements. In this talk we discuss the problem: When can Fn(X) be embedded in some Euclidean space Rm? In particular, we show that, if X is the sin(1/x)-curve, then F2(X) can be embedded in R3.
