A Discussion of Hyperspaces

We discuss ideas central to hyperspaces. We present a general picture of what hyperspaces are and discuss some of the research that has been done. The talk is aimed at nonspecialists; in particular, no knowledge of hyperspaces is needed to understand the talk. We include several unsolved problems.
