Transient analysis of a limited space queueing system with two environmental states prone to catastrophes is carried out by using the technique of Probability generating function. The effects of environmental change and catastrophe are extensively dealt with. Particular cases of the model are also derived. Steady state behaviour of the queue is discussed in detail.
