Maximal Finite Order Linear Recurrences and Related Integer Sequences

Many interesting, and some new, integer sequences are intimately related to the determination of maximal finite order linear recurrences with coefficients in [-A,0]. The class of integer sequences bounding odd order linear recurrences with coefficients in [-1,0] is found. Integer sequences arising from even order linear recurrences will be discussed as well as preliminary results in the general problem that suggest the importance of analysis of integer sequences in its resolution.
