In this paper, we introduce the notion of strong (k0, k1)-continuity and study the extension problem of a strong (k0, k1)-continuous map from a subset of the Khalimsky n0-space to another subset of the Khalimsky n1-space, which will be used in the fields of topology for studying discrete objects in Zn and computer science. Furthermore, we will give some ideas related to the fields of covering theory and selection and so on.
