Transverse Foliations to nonsingular Morse-Smale flows on the 3-sphere and Bott-integrable Hamiltonian systems

We apply results of Goodman and Wada to determine which nonsingular Morse-Smale flows on the 3-sphere have transverse foliations. We then observe that there is a connection to flows arising from certain Hamiltonian systems and from certain contact structures.
