An uncountable collection of dendroids mutually incomparable by continuous functions

Two continua are comparable by continuous maps if one of those continua can be mapped onto the other. We answer a question of B. Knaster by constructing an uncountable collection of dendroids whose members are not comparable by continuous maps.
