In the talk we discuss the ways for posting Burnside-type problems related to solvability property. The classical Engel-Zorn-Baer results connect Engel and nilpotency properties of groups and Lie algebras. We describe the obtained counterparts of the Engel-Zorn-Baer results in the solvable case. These results constitute a ground for the corresponding Burnside-type problems.
