Somewhere between Mahler Measure and L2-torsion

Lueck's combinatorial L2-torsion computes the hyperbolic volume of a knot complement. Within the very same framework the Mahler measure can be defined. In the talk we will cover some simple cases of knots and end with more questions than answers.
