Weak Product Recurrence Does Not Imply Distality.

A point x in a dynamical system is said to be weak product recurrent if it recurrs it tandem with every almost periodic point in every dynamical system. We prove that weak product recurrence is strictly weaker than distality, thus solving a problem posed by Auslander and Furstenberg.
