This paper deals with a delayed prey-predator system where the prey population is infected by a microparasite. Predator functional response is assumed to be of type IV. Persistence and stability conditions are found out in absence of delay. The role of delay is investigated. Results are verified through computer simulation. Numerical simulation suggests that the delay has a destabilizing effect.
