Educational talk: Minimal entropy and rigidity.

We define the volume entropy of a riemannian manifold and the growth of a finitely generated group. We will explain how the Mostow rigidity extends to the minimality of the entropy of metrics of contant negative curvature. We will also give further developpements as for instance geometric Milnor Wood inequalities.
