Discrete and continuous singular boundary value problems
by

We study solvability of singular boundary value problems for differential and difference equations of the second order. The considered equations admit time and space singularities. We show the connection between their solutions. The existence of solutions is proved by the lower and upper functions method, fixed point theorems (Brouwer, Schauder) and topological degree arguments.
