This paper studies the convergence of solutions of the nonlinear equation
x(v)+f1(x(iv))+f2(x''')+f3(x")+g(x')+h(x) = p(t, x, x', x", x"', x(iv))
where the functions f1, f2, f3, g, h and p are continuous in their respective arguments. Here, the nonlinear functions are not necessarily required to be differentiable.
Key words: convergence of solutions; nonlinear fifth order equations; Routh-Hurwitz interval; Lyapunov functions.
