Chaos of the logistic equation caused by a piecewise constant argument

We consider the logistic map with several types of the piecewise constant argument. Existence and stability of periodic solutions is investigated. Chaotic behavior of the dynamics using the complex behavior of the Ricker’s equation and of the logistic discrete equation is discovered.The biological sense of the results is discussed.
