A Novel Technique for Spectral Analysis of Bandlimited Signals

Spectral analysis of signals is generally carried out using Fast Fourier Transforms. Computation of Fast Fourier Transforms involves summation and multiplications of complex values. Here, a spectral analysis technique is proposed which eliminates multiplications. The technique is applicable to bandlimited signals. In case of dedicated hardware, elimination of multiplications makes the hardware implementation simpler and thus economic too.
