Quantum Teichmüller spaces and Kashaev's 6j-symbols
by
Bai, Hua
University of Georgia

The Kashaev's invariants in the Volume Conjecture are constructed from the 6j-symbols, using the representation theory of Weyl algebra. In the talk, we will see how the Kashaev's 6j-symbols are realized as the intertwining operators of local representation of quantum Teichmüller spaces. This relates Kashaev's work with the theory of quantum Teichmüller spaces, which was developed by Chekhov-Fock and Bonahon-Liu.
