Spectrum of a function and regularity of solutions to differential equations on Banach spaces.

In this talk, we first discuss different types of spectrum of a function. Using properties of that spectrum, we next study the regularity of solutions to abstract differential equations of the form u'(t)=Au(t) +f(t), t ∈ R. Especially, the characterization of periodicity and almost periodicity of solutions will be given.
