Results on the asymptotic behaviour of some physiologically structured population models: Scramble vs. contest competition.

In this talk we will report on the state of the art concerning the long term dynamics of certain physiologically structured population dynamical models. In particular, we will explore the analogies and differences of scramble and contest competition models both from the biological and mathematical points of view.
