Renormalized solutions for nonlinear degenerate elliptic problems in orlicz spaces

An existence result of a renormalized solution for a class of nonlinear degenerate elliptic equations is established. The diffusion functions a(x, u, ∇u) is not controlled with respect to u and is not uniformly coercive on the orlicz spaces W01LM(W), where the N-function M does not satisfy the D2-condition, and the data belong to L1(W).
