Commutative basic algebras

Commutative basic algebras have been introduced as a nonassociative generalization of MV-algebras. They are in a 1-1 correspondence with lattices having an antitone involution on every principal filter and satisfying the contraposition law. We show that every commutative basic algebra is subdirect product of chains.
