Convexity and coconvexity for S-posets

We present a useful categorical characterization of the notion of (partial order) convexity for partially ordered acts over a partially ordered monoid (S-posets for short). This characterization is easily dualized, and turns out to be nothing but an isomorphism, which fact has a limiting influence on the category of S-posets. As the question arose in studying the possibility of Morita duality for S-posets, we will discuss the implications for Morita duality and some related aspects.
