Non-selfadjoint crossed products were introduced by Arveson in 1967 and since then they have played a central role in the development of non-selfadjoint operator algebras. In this talk, I will concentrate on the classification problem for non-selfadjoint crossed products. Among others, I will present a classification scheme for all semicrossed products of simple C*-algebras.
