A Perturbation Theorem and Its Application

This work is concerned with operators of abstract equations which are dependent on a multi-parameter and investigates a parameter property of the operators. A general theorem, which may be viewed as a perturbation theorem relating to the parameter, is developed first. The result is then applied to an abstract integrodifferential equation and is used to study differentiability with respect to parameters of solutions of the integrodifferential equation. The application of the obtained results to a viscoelastic equation is discussed.
