Dirichlet problems for Dirac-type systems

We consider the Dirichlet boundary value problem associated to a first order asymptotically linear Dirac-type system in R2n. Using the spectral theory and the oscillation theory for linear Dirac-type systems, we are able to introduce a Maslov-type index; this index is then used for the study of multiplicity of solutions to a nonlinear BVP. To this aim, we use shooting arguments and bifurcation theory.
