Fifth-order Predictor-Corrector method for solving nonlinear equation

In a recent paper, Noor et al [M. Aslam Noor, W. A. Khan, Third-order predictor-corrector method for solving

nonlinear equation (2007) Inprocess.] have suggested and analyzed a

third-order iterative method by using prediction and correction

technique for solving nonlinear equations. In this paper, we

used this method and suggested a new predictor-corrector method of

fifth-order. Several examples are given to illustrate the efficiency

and the performance of the proposed method. We also present a comparison

among several recent fifth-order methods.
