Soliton solutions for a generalized Broer-Kaup system

In this work, we take into consideration a (2+1)-dimensional higher order Broer-Kaup system. The truncated Painleve expansion is used to obtain an

auto-Backlund transformation and analytic solitonic solutions. A modification of homogenous balance (HB) method is suggested to search for Backlund

transformation of Broer-Kaup system of nonlinear equations.
