Positive solutions for elliptic equations involving nonlinearities with falling zeroes

We study classes of boundary value problems involving the p-Laplacian operator and nonlinearities which have falling zeroes. We analyze the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions when a parameter is large. We use the method of sub-super solutions to establish our results.
