Braidability

We introduce `braidability' as a symmetry which is intermediate to the distributional symmetries `exchangeability' and `spreadability' of noncommutative infinite random sequences. This endows the braid groups Bn with a new intrinsic (quantum) probabilistic interpretation. We show as an application that certain unitary representations of the braid group B are accompanied by Jones-Temperley-Lieb algebras.
