The space of negatively curved metrics

Let M be a closed smooth manifold. We will examine some questions about the topology of the following spaces:

MET sec < 0(M), the space of negatively curved Riemannian metrics on M,

T sec < 0(M), the Teichmüller space of negatively curved Riemannian metrics on M,

M sec < 0(M), the moduli space of negatively curved Riemannian metrics on M.

For instance, are these spaces contractible? connected? simply connected?
