Fletcher and John (1985) published results involving factorial crossover designs and the estimation of direct and residual effects. Shing and Hinkelman (1992) extended the results to include confounding in the factorial structure of the crossover designs. Santra (2007) in his dissertation gave further results on confounded crossover designs. None of these results included randomization restrictions that might be placed on the factors. However, there have been some results involving randomization restrictions in a crossover design. Dean, et. al.(1999) studied nested crossover designs with two factors. These results were extended to split-plot type cross-over designs for two factors by Raghavarao and Xie (2002). Here we extend Shing and Hinkelman’s and Santra’s results to include factorial crossover designs with randomization restrictions.
