Some insights on Dirichlet regularization

I this talk I discuss the Tikhnov regularization framework in the case in which the gradient is used as differential operator. Some insights are given to overcome the singularity issue tipically faced using other appropriate differential operators. In particular, I discuss the regularization framework also in the case in which the examples are represented in a discrete graphical domain in the special case of classification learning tasks.
