Cesaro and Rhaly type operators

We use power series of the unilateral shift on separable Hilbert spaces, to characterize Rhaly type operators and make a few remarks upon using factorisation on some dense subspaces. We give sufficient conditions for boundedness, approximate the norm, prove strong convergence for the power series involved. Weighted spaces are also considered in order to produce Hardy type inequalities.
