Composition operators on L2-spaces via inductive limits and projective systems

We present an approach to investigation of composition operators on L2-spaces based on projective systems of measure spaces and inductive limits of L2-spaces. It can be used especially when investigating composition operators induced by measurable transformations of infinite dimensional measure space. In particular, it enables defining a composition operator with symbol that can be viewed as infinite matrix.
