An HFD group in the Solovay model

In the model obtained by forcing over a model of CH with the measure algebra on 2k, there is a HFD subset of 2w1 which is a countably compact topological group without non-trivial convergent sequences. Thus a selective ultrafilter is not needed to construct a countably compact group without non-trivial convergent sequences, answering a question of Tomita.
