Decompositions of Cayley Graphs of Matrix Groups

We prove certain decomposition theorems for Cayley graphs of matrix groups over finite fields with respect to a large class of generating sets. These theorems are then used to investigate the Cheeger constants, Hadwiger numbers, and the Hamiltonicity of these graphs.
