GUI Application using RSA

This presentation will focus on a RSA application with a GUI (Graphical User interface) implemented in Java. In particular I will discuss the design considerations and algorithms implemented in application, with regard to performance, and security.

The application provides a simple GUI interface to decrypt and encrypt using the RSA algorithm. Several options can be specified by the user for public keys, private keys, plain text and encrypted text to be input and output to the application. Additionally the application provides a function to generate private keys which are strong against several common RSA key based attacks. The overall goal is to produce an application that is secure and user friendly.
