Deadline for abstracts: October 01, 1998
Description:
The ISAIF was created in 1990 in the People's Republic of China with the integrating value of a bridge of
transfer inside and outside of Asia. Every second time it takes place in China while other countries are
involved in the organisation in the meantime.
The Fourth International Symposium on Experimental and Computational Aerothermodynamics of Internal Flows (ISAIF)
will be held at Dresden, the capital of the Federal State of Saxony in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Problems of Interest may fall into the following categories:
* Flow in fans, compressors, turbines and pumps * Flow in channels, pipes, intakes and nozzles * Transonic flow, shock wave boundary layer interaction * Boundary layer flows, laminar, transitional and turbulent flows, turbulence modelling * Heat and mass transfer * Flow in heat exchangers, thermal equipments, chemical process and energy systems * Unsteady flows, aerodynamic acoustics, aerodynamic elasticity * Multiphase flows, combustion, non-equilibrium and reacting flows * Biothermal fluid dynamics * Flow measurement, visualisation and experimental techniques * Active and passive flow control
