This workshop will focus on the development of models for
composite materials, and their treatment by mathematical and
computational methods. Composite materials have clearly become a
very central area of study in mechanics and computational
mechanics, and the last 15-20 years have also seen an ever
increasing use of highly sophisticated mathematical tools.
