Description:
The UIUC Departments of Mathematics and Physics, with support from the Critical Research Initiative at UIUC, are pleased to announce a joint workshop. We aim to bring together mathematicians and physicists with overlapping interests, and to facilitate understanding and collaboration. The topics of discussion will include string theory, condensed matter systems, gauge theory, differential and algebraic geometry.
