This workshop will take place during the 4-month programme on Mathematics and Applications of Fractals, and will take place at the Newton Institute,
Cambridge.
The workshop will bring together mathematicians and physicists interested in differential equations and their physical applications on fractal sets, and on sets with fractal boundaries. Topics to be covered include experimental results, structure and behaviour of fractal media, eigenvalue and spectral properties, and heat equation and probabilistic methods.
