This International Workshop on analytical and numerical methods for convection-dominated differential equations will be organized in
cooperation with the GAMM Committees ``Efficient numerical methods for pde'' and ``Scientific computing''. It will provide a forum for
communication and interaction between applied mathematicians, numerical analysts and the scientific computing community.
Conference themes: Discretization techniques - FDM/FEM/FVM/spectral methods/collocation methods Solution of the discrete algebraic problems - multigrid/domain decomposition/parallelization Analytical approaches - asymptotic expansions/Shishkin-type decompositions Error estimates and adaptive approaches Modelling and applications
