Description:
Euro-Par is the premier European conference on parallel computing and normally attracts about 300 participants. It is an annual international
conference, dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel computing. The major themes of the conference can be divided into
the broad categories of hardware, software, algorithms, and applications.
The objective of Euro-Par'99 is to provide a forum to promote the development of parallel computing both as an industrial tool and as an academic discipline, extending the frontiers of the state of practice as well as the state of the art. This is particularly important at a time when parallel computing is undergoing strong and sustained development and is beginning to experience real industrial take up.
