NORDAN-99

April 22-25, 1999

Stockholm, Sweden

Mathematics

Host: Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden
Homepage: http://www.math.uu.se/~maciej/nordan99/nordan.html

Organizers: Björn Ivarsson, Burglind Juhl-Jöricke, Maciej Klimek

Description:
While continuing the tradition of earlier Nordan symposia in several complex variables, this year's meeting has a special significance as a celebration of the 60th birthday of Professor Christer Kiselman and a tribute to his contributions to mathematics. In the past, the Nordan conferences were directed mainly at participants from the Nordic countries and foreign academics visiting universities in these countries. To reflect the global ramifications of Professor Kiselman's work, this year's symposium will have a more international flavor with participants from other European countries and from the USA.

Speakers: Eric Bedford, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, USA), Urban Cegrell (Umeå University, Umeå, and Mitthögskolan, Sundsval, Sweden), Jean-Pierre Demailly (Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France), Julien Duval (Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France), John-Erik Fornaess (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA), Franc Forstneric (University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia), Lawrence Gruman (Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France), Gennadi Henkin (Université de Paris VI, Paris, France), Mikael Passare (Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden), Józef Siciak (Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland), Daniele Struppa (George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, USA)
