Description:
The aim is to stimulate contacts between people working in image analysis and statisticians.
There will be invited lectures, contributed papers and poster sessions. Contributions will be in English. For participants who intend to contribute are required to submit an extended abstract for review. Authors may choose to also submit a full paper for consideration for publication in the special issue of Pattern Recognition Letters that will be published in association with the conference (special editors are Prof Bjarne Ersboll and Prof Karl Åström). The deadline for extended abstracts as well as full papers (including short abstract) is March 31, 1999. Notification of acceptance of extended abstracts is May 15, 1999, and for full papers June 30, 1999.
